Thought I'd make a thread for folks to share their stories for the Metus contest! I'll do my best to also compile them by theme for people looking for stories that follow a specific theme, but y'know, I'm lazy.

A: You could say I'm seeking passive feedback in terms of view counts and readerships as per the parameters of the contest. But also I think as a community we can all quietly come together and agree that this forum is less "seeking feedback" motivated and more "blatant self-advertising" motivated.

Elevator pitch: (I really am bad at writing this, you bet!)

the protagonist who is the queen of all the dark beings on earth (not included the demon race) and.... she is also a human but hates humans Her journey will be accompanied by her strong, funny, unique yet scary friends&subordinates, in order to protect their home and the other dark beings from the demon race and of course, humans who wanted the dark beings on earth to disappear. She also had to hide her true identity from the other strong dark beings, because if they knew..... read the story pls. LOL.

Fyi: I got a lot of inspiration from my home country, Bali Indonesia, especially for the dark creatures that exist in my story. Thus, you could learn about some ghosts or dark beings from Indonesia of course, I mixed it and add some spices to fit my fantasy story...

Elevator pitch: My novel is more of character growth of the main protagonist, where over the course of the novel, he's trying to regain his memory, and throughout the novel, his wife is trying to stop him from regaining his memory. It's a novel based on the trust that occurs in marriage and regaining that you have once lost.
