I need advice for my novel. I accelerated my novel in chapters 33 to 5 years later. I planning to write what my male mc doing in that 5 years it in a separate series, because if I write it now the female mc would be more like a side character.

But if the story is separated it would be a bit confusing. Do you think it's better to just put it in a story or make a separate story?

before you decide anything, you have to consider the following:

• has the overarching story ended with the protagonist reaching the endgame
• has the endgame even be reached yet
• does the new story retain the same theme as the story from before

if it's answered "yes yes no", it's safe to say you need to make a new cereal- i mean, serial

Yup, i already have a fixed plot for this story and already finished season 1(about 100 chapters) I planning to write it until season 4, including 2 sequel. but I still want to expand it more and improved some scene to make it more detail.
