Hello, fellow authors and readers!

I’m new to the Scribble Hub community and excited to introduce myself. I’ve recently started writing my first fantasy novel, The Madness of Yilheim, and it’s been an incredible experience so far!

The story revolves around a unique energy system called Vitalis. It’s an intermediary energy that splits into two incompatible paths:

Bravo: The energy of willpower and physical strength.

Mana: The energy of precision and knowledge.

The dichotomy between these two forms of power creates tension and challenges for the characters as they navigate a world filled with danger and mystery. To make things even more interesting, the story also follows a group of Earthers—people from Earth—who find themselves thrown into Yilheim with no understanding of its rules or power dynamics.

Since this is my first book, I’d love to connect with other authors here. I’m eager to hear your advice, especially about tackling challenges as a new writer or balancing world-building and storytelling.

Feel free to ask me questions about my book or share tips for navigating the forum and connecting with readers. I’m looking forward to learning and growing with this amazing community!

Cheers,
Tarblee

Welcome to the site, new author. What you've posted has grabbed my interest. Also, I haven't read the word "dichotomy" in a while, nice. Now to my question: With Vitalis splitting into two incompatible paths, does that mean you won't have any magic warrior capable of using Bravo and Mana in your setting?

As you mentioned tension, what is the ratio of Bravo and Mana users, I can only imagine if it's split evenly people able to wield magic flames would have more power over the just physically strong. I might not respond immediately I'm playing terraria.

In front of me lie two paths.

Path 1: congratulate the person who had the courage to post a novel; wish him success.
Path 2: Mock the person for misspelling "excited."

Do I act mature, or do I sink to the maturity of the people in Webnovel?
