You want to write a new novel that is a new genre but your used to writing a certain type of novels and want to finish them. What do you do finish your old genre or take a chance on a new genre

A novel can fit into multiple genres. Mine starts out realistic, but then the engagement ring turns out to have magical properties in Chapter 40, and things just get more crazy from there. My answer is to finish it. If I were writing this in traditional book format, I might end the volume and start a new one in the same series, but we're not limited by printing costs and those sorts of concerns here on the internet!

Nothing stops you from testing a new genre. At worst you will come back to your old genre.

I have tons of novels I wanna write, and their genres vary to some degree, so...

Just pick one story at a time and go for it, write the thing you want to write~
