I think NTR should almost have a sub-category like gore, sexual content, and strong language. I feel like NTR is almost it's own category, as it seems to evoke special feelings of hatred for the readers.

I feel conflicted about NTR. On one hand, it makes me horny, on the other hand it makes me want to go on a killing spree.

I have never seen a male protag in an NTR novel that wasn't some weak willed terrible character that just sucked to read about. The females also tend to be just sluts with no other personality whatsoever. As someone who cares about story, I hate NTR as it just doesn't have any story whatsoever. I could see the same story by watching a women become hooked on meth, that would probably be more compelling.

I also just don't see any real future with it as a main component in a relationship. If the girl gets NTR'd she is now with someone incredibly immoral, as they were happy to destroy a relationship. It is a guy who has incredibly low morals, so she either becomes a whore until she is old and undesirable and then probably get cheated on, or he will get sick of her and throw her away.

The other scenario is that she stays with her weak original character, and just go through one bender after another. It just has no real place in anything but porn, I have never seen it done well. I also don't think it is ever going to become more popular than it already is. A lot of the growth that you see in this type of field is just due to more users appearing, but ultimately it is considered frowned upon. Let's face it, it is betrayal and that is how most will see it. I don't think that is going to go away.

The subtle nuances of NTR have obviously flown over your head. It is a highly compelling commentary the relationships between men and women. The cuck, aka beta male, is btfoed by the alpha/sigma male in a raw display of reality. While the female is often portrayed as short sighted, stupid, and slutty, all the things which modern stories shy away from. NTR thrusts the an alternate perspective of the world onto you like a mighty Atlus thrusts the earth into the sky. With divorce rates skyrocketing people are waking up to the true nature of relationships and the faults of the opposite sex. NTR is a logical consequence of this and it will continue to advance until morality has been restored, and in that sense it is a necessary evil. It is the modern day cautionary tale and the future of all literature as we know it.
