Is there a way to write a romance without being effected by, *ehem*, lust?
I do want an affection, a true love... Not a horny feeling that keep polute my healthy mind and keep me day dreaming everytime in a while.

Just in case,
I am not watching a H and something simmilar in time being Even I fully aware about how many they are in this site.

I mean, I have the same problem. If it helps, think that you're characters are underage and that will kill the horny.

I have... But somehow, when I look for materials, I got a stupid fact that underage-love is becoming a trend recently.

Don't write the sex scenes and focus on what actions they do for each other. Do they save each other, do they talk to each other? Do they like each other? Conversation is an important part of romance a lot of author's skim over.
Yeah, I did want to write something like that...
Idk... In the end, it would only be an usual fullfillment story' and then, the inc#t virus would infect my brain...
Inc#t is not a virus. It is a culture.

Yeah it's a good suggestion.
Actually, I have also done that currently. Butnya know, as an author....we can see what happen behind the scene. This really killing my free time to be trapped in "dreamland"
Btw, the culture was too good for my mental health

On a more serious note:

Consider ways they could spend time with one another or what they might like about one another.
If nothing comes to mind that sounds like a bigger issue with their design.

Sexual attraction being the only link makes a sexually defined relationship inevitable.

Or, going by your other replies, abandon the idea and double down on the porn that seems to come much more easily to you.

Im currently writing a GL story and haven't crossed some lines in order to keep it wholesome. (Hard task).

However, I did put a "lewd" scene (once) about the girls imagining a kiss or something like that. (So go and read it to to understand what Im saying *wink*).

In the end, I think it all depends on what are you trying to made out of your story.

Have any recommendation of novel where I could learn deeply about a that...step by step love?
Pls no BL, no matter how pure and flufy their feeling, I had my own personal trauma already.

Trying to not write sex is pointless. It’s part of life. If you want to try and avoid it altogether then you’re just running away from reality. You don’t even need to focus too much on the actual sexual acts. Rather than doing so, you can allow the sex to transpire and focus solely on setting the mood, atmosphere, and ambiance to make that scene truly memorable and let the readers imaginations fill in the gaps.

Personally, I don’t like writing sex scenes all too much though since they eventually just feel the same. But I’ll still do it if I feel the scene could be a memorable one and meaningful in some way.

I don't read much focus romance, so I can't really attest to any particular work's quality.
Even concerning people you could ask instead I have little to offer.

@AliceShiki mentioned she'd read quite a bit
Or @OokamiKasumi for general writing help

The answer somehow in opposite direction of what I was looking for, but sure helping my other urges.
As If you telling me to just accept the lust and manage it carefully
After reading your commment several Times, having a hunch that the more I try to avoid the lust, the more i will think about that...
