I love yanderes who will protect me and then becomes dandere whenever I thank them and suddenly becomes a tsundere.

Call me old-fashioned, but tsunderes will always be top tier for me. The entire gimmick of their character is that they're going to experience some kind of growth into a better person. Other than that, breaking through a tsundere's ice layering into her fluffy dere interior is almost always cathartic. It's just the perfect all around dere type if you want a cheap and easy way to grow your characters and make your reader feel some kinda thing. That all depends on whether or not the tsundere is well writte, of course.

They’re all typical stereotypes you see in anime & manga, I don’t have a favorite nor do I dislike them, but when they remain as a flat character only to exist to be a stereotype— I’m out.
