Is there either a different recent releases list from the home page or a way to configure the existing one such that it doesn't have the "bookcover" and shows more releases per page? Ideally there would just be an alternative view mode that had this behavior. Also, it'd be nice if you could let me know if there's a way to make it not merge nearby releases of the same story into a single line on the recent releases list.

I don't know, I know that you can change what genre shows on recent releases but nothing beyond that.
