thanks, I did this simply ... well, to be honest just because my sudden rush of blood boiling when reading comment and kept my word. I know, I get it what everyone trying to do but sometime people cross over the lines (understandable) and have to be reminded, that's all I'm trying to said.

I draw free shits here and there because either I was bored and have free time or I simply wanted to draw something but I have no inspiration or idea. So? I usually roam between forum to my liking and draw something simple for free and don't worry I'm not going to "damage the market" or anything harmful for other artist who want to make a living on here. I just did something for free to whoever lucky person ask drawing for free.
Like I said, I'll not always do free drawing ... most time I probably suddenly disappear and came back at random time. I mean I got my office job and sometime a commission too ... ohh, then let me promote my self a bit then! I also did commission and of course the quality of drawing would be drastically different from free items, hehe.

anyway, nice to meet you all and once again, I mean no harm just did in a spur of my emotion. see ya next time ... probably when someone ask free shits, lol.

How are you threat to the market if you're not a part of the market at all? :blob_hmm_two: I consider the ones who take requests to be people who are either want exposure, want to improve, going through an art block and generally just does art purely as hobby.

The ones not willing to pay will not pay anyway no matter how small the amount It's the people who charge an extremely small amount who piss me off. Like, if you're serious about it then don't charge so less and threaten the artist's who charge a decent amount. Like wtf lmao, literally giving an excuse to assholes to say "Huhhhh you need so much money?! That botch charges a third of what you do!" It gives an idea that that's only the amount that artists deserve, otherwise why would someone ask me "Hey so will you take @$20 for (a complete full body fully rendered character design)?"

I'm not sure what you went through or what you've experienced, but for me I rarely or even barely met any those kind of person. Most people I met are decent person and the way I do commission are different. My art not set in price, usually I set it based on how difficult, how detailed and how much shading they want, and negotiate till we sealed the deal. During transaction I set upfront money about 1/4 up to half of have been agreed on. I message my commissioner whenever I finish at certain progress and ask their opinion or whether any adjustment. When the work is done I request the remaining payment and then I sent them complete art and no, I didn't use the finished product as part of my gallery or anything unless they allow me to post it during the negotiation (most time they want it exclusive, so no posting)
despite people said furries are degenerate or people who had "peculiar" fetishes are disgusting I found them to be pleasant people to talk and strike a deal, usually they don't ask much, they just want the art to be done as good as possible and paid well when it's done. Yes, I'm type of artist who dwell on bottom of the barrel and do any commission as long as it's within my capabilities.
Yea, you're right, I'm part of the market. It just different kind of market so don't worry much.

My point is, perhaps you could spread your market more, not just "common art" try delve into darkness and challenge yourself. This is just my suggestion based on my own experience, every person is different and this might be not suitable for you, but do as you see fit.

anyway, those experience turn me into corporate machine, my office job is coloring artist for adult manga straight from japan ... yea, I felt numb coloring porn everyday.

Hi, I’m looking for someone to make an artwork of the heroine of my novel. Unfortunately I can’t pay you and I’m really sorry about that. Really really sorry.

This artwork will be used in chapter 7 of my novel Nanashi.

Description- The 5-year old girl has light blond hair and dull emerald eyes. Her hair reaches all the way to the small of her back. She is currently wearing a black one-piece resting on bed, her legs under the blanket and her face to the right facing the mc, the window of the room behind her.

I’m fine Colour or Black & White.
Holy fuck we've spite this post enough that it actually worked lmao

The man steeled his balls and stepped onto the open market, ready to bargain for the impossible. At the end of the day, despite the judgment at all sides, he got the deal. Astounding. Honestly, I wish I had that confidence.
