I can't see why you should choose one or the other. Romance and Fantasy as genres cover wildly different topics and moods, no? If anything, Romance is a subgenre and Fantasy is more generalist

Which one do you like more? And why?
I'll go first, fantasy, because my life has a severe deficiency of romance and I don't want read a love story and feel depressed about my existence.
Hehe, both. Both is gud.

Why choose one when you can have both in same story. Fantasy with romance is good ones I think

They're the same thing.

This may surprise the uninitiated, but real life Romance is very, very, very boring. Fictional Romance is a lot less sitting around talking about nothing, and a lot more romantic dates. Fictional romance is a lot less tedious adulting, and a lot more actually being life partners, etc.

Basically, the romance genre IS fantasy.
