Don't mind me. I've just decided to keep a textless version of the illustrations I used in the first arc of my story.

Great art, but the boob plate 'armor' the woman is wearing, when surrounded by fully armor knights that appear in the other pictures, is just... off-putting. Like, does she have super strong skin that allows her to wear a leotard into battle?

Don't mind it. It's their style and the leotard is supposedly infused with magic.

(But honestly, I just like that style 😂)

The retro feel might simply come from the way you define the nose. Modern manga use either a light shading, or almost a dot to define it.

I'm not on the boob plate camp either.

I go bikini armor, or go home, kuahahaha!

I'm subtly on the bikini armor camp as well...though with some alterations. (Like the boob plate armor)

That aside, maybe it's also on my use of heavy, dark lines that I get the 'retro' feel. In any case, that's my style and I'll have to live with it. 😁

And also, I used pencil and paper on all of my artworks...had to scan these to transfer it for digital colors. I just suck @ digital drawings. 😂
