Alright ladies and gentlemens, aliens and mutants living and dead, spirits, cartoons, impossible beings from adjacent realms and others to whom I shan't apologize for their crime of simply being too weird to count.

I actually missed the last round's count a bit and we ended up having 40 replies instead of 20 of the normal round. That's part of the reason why I jumped directly to round 3.
The half? Second parts were never good.

Aaanyways, you know the rules. Japanese Shiritory deviant where you have to make an eight verse story (no need to rhyme) starting with the previous story's last word

The man sobbed as his life flickered out, fragments of who he was flashed in his mind; then with one last sob, he fell limp — dead.
