So! You're reading this, huh? You must be reaaaally bored then... But don't worry! I've got the solution to your problem!
Namely: Shiristory!
You might have heard of Shiritori before. It's basically a Japanese game of words where you have to say a words that starts with the same syllable your opponent's words ended in, no repetitions allowed.
Shiristory is a variation of this. The rules are simple: You have to create a mini-story, writen in eight short verses, rhyme is optional. The next person has to start their story with the last word of the previous person's story.
This round will end when at least 20 people have played.

And so, rules have been explained, let this game begin! I will give you a random word to start with:

responsibility

Responsibility is something one should not squander.
There was once a person who did just that.
They would sit in their room all day and ponder.
“What is the meaning of life?” They would think as they sat.

Never did they accomplish anything other than idle thought.
The person didn’t have anyone to tell them to stop.
There was no one there to say that it was all for naught.
They again asked themselves “What is the point?” as they walked to the shop.

Upon their walk they ran into a stray cat.
The cat begged them for food with a gleam in its eye.
The person knew it was pointless to do that.
The person ignored the cat with a great big sigh.

To the person’s amazement the cat let out a voice.
“Come with me.” The cat said.
The cat pulled the person along. “You don’t have a choice.”
Like that, the person was led.

They arrived at a dirty back alley with homeless people everywhere.
“Don’t worry they can’t see you.” The cat calmed the person.
The person was just confused as they continued to stare.
There was a homeless woman crying as her condition began to worsen.

“What is wrong with her?” The person questioned.
“She doesn’t have long. She is dying.”
The person didn’t understand. What was the lesson?
“If I said I knew your point, then I would be lying.”

“There are people like this everywhere with no one to lend.”
“There are people who die all the time.”
“Everyone's the same, they will all bend.”
“My reasoning still stands. Why even climb?”

“Don’t you see?” The cat responded with zeal.
“Even at death’s door she seeks salvation.”
The woman’s prayer reached the cat as she began to heal.
“There are many things you can do to change your situation.”

This is fine, but you made a little mistake.
A verse is a single line, which means you actually wrote a 32-verse story, or an 8 stanzas story. That was still cool though!
Okay, my turn:

Situation is a mystery, the lonely boy carries on
Shadows lurk in the horizon, danger stalks hidden around
Yet he moves with nothing but the strength of his soul
For the heroes' determination is now his own

The brave boy walks ahead, scared of the unknown
His heart beats stronger than ever, almost as if they were drums
A distant twig shatters with unsettling sound
And he realizes, in dread, that he is not alone

I will go again!
Alone in the abyss sat a clock.
The clock floated there with a tick and a tock.
With no one to stop, and no one to block.
The clock floated tick-tick-tock.

Time grew long as the abyss started to flop.
Still the clock did tick never to stop.
At universes end, the worlds did rock.
Still the clock continued tick-tick-tock.

Tock tock tock, banged the tall stone door
No one was in, at least not to answer
The boy walked in, ignoring the rain pour
This was his new shelter from danger

Yet fate, it seemed, had other plans for him
As endless monsters started to appear
Even then, he did not attack, even against his will
They thanked his mercy, their gift a story to tell

Tell me a story.
Give me a twist.
One about glory.
One with a fist.

Tell me something.
Give me a plot.
One about writing.
One with a lot.

Lot of joy might get you sick
Universe hates lucky dudes
And trust me I know that's rude
But for living life that is the trick

So if a long life is what you wish for
Make sure to balance good and bad luck alike
For you might find you fall of your bike
Or falls upon you the power of Thor

For you might find you fall of your bike
Or falls upon you the power of Thor
Thor readied his hammer along with his lightning.
It has been a while sense he reveled in fighting.
He entered the arena, where his foe did lie.
His enemy was a giant with one big eye.

The announcer signaled the start of the battle.
When Thor's hammer found the giant his bones did rattle.
As the battle reached a climax the crowd did cheer.
On the giants face Thor brought down Mjolnir.

Mjolnir, Gae Bolga, Excalibur.
Treasures of Heroes by time forlorn
For influece, wealthy and power
To Saturn and Anubis importance they hold not

Rich or poor, commoner or noble
Men and women, children and old
When it comes to the forces of nature
They can do naught but silently behold

Behold the dance of the blood moon.
Creatures of the night begin to stalk.
Upon the humans they prey.
This is a night like no other.

Vampires take to the shadows all in tune.
Inside the darkness they walk.
They come out and play.
If you are a human run for cover.

Cover with corpses of both friends and foes
Battlefield filled with bullets and blood
Shots and explosions wrecking it all
War is a vice just for people above

Hide to the sound of missiles and bones
Disgust of the howling of the Gatling guns
Each hole in their flesh is a hole in your soul
No one can save you from hollowness now

(The round ends when 20 people play? This will go on for a while.)
Now that was a dark tale.
War is something this world knows to well.
The scars of battle still grace the earth.
I have to ask "What was it worth?"

The people scream and cry.
The soldiers march on ready to die.
They continue to battle always dying.
I can only watch while sighing.

(No, only when there are 20 short stories in the chat)

Sighing I respond to you, my friend
For those who know of the sorrows of war
Can't do nothing but look from afar
As people who rule profit with the gains

For soldiers who march willing to hell
Believe their weapons serve to protect
Their countries, their families, their friends
By the time they learn of the truth, it's already too late

...
Late it is, for my school.
Why am I talking like a baboon?
That matters not, I have to poop.
Oh, the bathroom is on campus.

Wait for a taxi I cannot.
I should've woken up early right?
Cannot change the past now.
All I have to do is to run fast.

Fast running you must
For fate awaits for none
So speed and your hand thrust
And make the future your own

Heores of legends foretold
Will once again awake in this land
And those who carried on and on
On a glorious heaven's gates will stand

(Cool, someone else joined the fun)

Stand, you must.
Fight you will.
Take your weapon and charge.
For it will be the last war.

We will take down hell.
Future will tell tales.
About one mighty man.
Who ended nightmares.

Nightmares, eldritch monsters
Wraiths and revenants
Why not come and try me?
Catch me if you can!

Dead men to the death's realm
Livings keep walking on
Quit chasing your old lives
They are now our own!

Own mistakes are one's strength.
Lose or win, matters not.
Compete with might till your breath would stop.
Succeed or not, your trial is a must.

Shortcuts are unavoidable.
To cheat is temptation.
Sabotage is not mentioned.
Loopholes in the rules are inevitable.

"Inevitable is fate"
So do elders say
But, if digress I may
There is nothing like "done" or "late"

For one's will is all that takes
To overcome predicaments and reach greater heights
Yes, it is only your actions that weight
Whether with luck, love... or cake?
