So does this site not have any actual content moderation?

I've spent two weeks reporting a story that contains explicit sexual scenes involving a five-year-old. The story is still up. The chapter containing that child porn is still up.

My experience with the report story function can only lead me to believe that either there is no actual moderation and the entire concept of reporting a story for content violations is a hoax, or the site owners actually approve of having child porn on their site.

So which is it?

Hmmm, I've noticed the lack of moderation too. There should be no tolerance for that shit.

If your report is "this story contains sex with a five year old" without quoting the text in the story then it'll be tough for us to go through the whole story to find out what you're talking about. Please report it again quoting the text in the story.

Quote parts where the character is five years old and quote the part where there are sexual scenes involved. It'll make it a lot easier on us.

That one, near as I could tell, actually falls under the aegis of "dubiously legal." It explicitly describes all characters involved in such acts as being of age, regardless of how their appearances are described. That's either an actual failing of the law (in the USA) or merely muddies the issue enough that nobody can ensure a conviction enough to actually prosecute, I don't know which. Hentai game translators have been abusing that for years, with things like high-school settings being changed to "junior college" or the like, and everyone described as being at least 18.

...I've been on the internet a long time, okay? You end up learning this sort of thing in the weirdest places... especially when you find out as a teenager that, no, you can't get that disgusting lolicon pedo crap taken down, because the characters are fictional and all described as being at least 18...

it's not so much a failing of the law as it is the law is functionally vague when it comes to completely fictional artwork/etc as opposed to stuff based on real children. It's the balance between krieg on child porn and freedom of expression through art. That's why the few cases involving legit lolicon hentai and stuff, it's usually the lolicon charge is tacked on as a side-thought to the main charges which are almost always actual real child porn.

just means that while legit lolicon stuff is disgustingly sickening, it isnt actually illegal per se. Of course, that's US law. YMMV for other countries.

Of course, any content on SH that explicitly denotes sexual scenes with pre-pubescent children is definitely NG. As Tony said, when reporting provide as much detail as possible. which chapter at the minimum but preferably the lines in question. Makes it easier on Tony to bring out the banhammer then.

Pretty much. It's not a personal fetish of mine, but some adults like to be diapered and roleplay because it brings them into a headspace where they have no responsibilities.

In other cases, some adults just didn't go through puberty or only went through a partial puberty because their bodies didn't produce enough hormones or their bodies didn't respond to the hormones. Biology can be really messy sometimes. These people want to be seen as attractive and desirable too.

I find them very much so.
That doesn't make me a pedo. LOL

You completely destroyed the legitimacy of this whole thread by stating this, it just claims you are being a snowflake expecting something legal and just not your cup of tea to be deleted "because I say it's lolicon pedo crap".
Please, @Tony has A LOT to moderate alone, only flag novels that are ACTUALLY against the rules and CLEARLY against the Content Guidelines. They are clear as in:
"This is referring to the real age of the character."
Any corporeal depictions besides this are inference and artist freedom. Of course, depictions of bodies of clear CHILDREN are of course gonna be disallowed for very clear reasons. But make sure the sexualization exists and that they are portrayed as actual children.
If I say someone has few curves, almost non-existent breasts and a very small stature that does not automatically make them a child so long as their behavior is not compliant to that of a child, unless I say something very creepy like "The hot girl looked like she was 6, her prepubescent body turned me on". That's a huge nono

Now this guy understands us anime watchers...
Masou Gakuen HxH go BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

You flaky guys also need to remember there are TIERS to lolicons the same way there are tiers to Furries.

The very bottom of the pit lolicon is yes very much so a pedo, but those are a tiny portion of those stigmatized as lolicons.

This thread is funny. On another note, I don't get the lolicon concept in general. How is a woman without any curves considered erotic? I just can't see it. I know it's a personal thing, but child or not-child, there's nothing about it that strikes me as desirable. I'm not judging personal tastes because I like anyone else has particular fetishes. For example, I REALLY love legs on a woman. I have a thing for licking up and down a woman's legs. One of my exes was very much a fan of me using whipped cream. Not so much a foot guy, love legs though. But...curveless women...I just dont get it.

Eh, to each their own.

I pretty much agree with this and typically find the distinction between real children and vaguely humanoid 2Dlines that go uwuu easy to separate reality from fiction. Real life kids don’t have giant eyes and sparkly neon hair colors and say don’t say uwuu, they’re loud, annoying and shit and piss themselves. Very not sugoi of them.

Just cause you like a 2d girl that is 4ft tall, has no breasts or butt does not make you a pedo. And if she’s 14 in canon or whatever so fucking what she isn’t real lol

But the ones who specifically draw them to look closer and closer to real life kids? Yes. Yes that is indeed bad.

You misunderstood. The OP was saying that's not the novel they reported, because that one manages to fall into a grey area.
