Zero. I'm not even lying. It's just a hobby, so I focus on one at a time. Plus, I barely spend time writing.

Supposedly two projects, one was created out of spite while the other one I had already crafted the end. I would occasionally type some words in, but often find myself hard to describe my imagination. Inside my head, the thing runs like anime, when in my hand the shit feels like it has been written by someone constantly checking the english dictionary.

And a bus load of porn, some of which I cannot post on Literotica cuz Shota.

it's always good to pretend to have at least 3. Good conversation piece.

To the people out there overwhelmed by the fact that some dudes out here got up to 20 individual projects, don't fret: if you take into account on subject matter and word count, it's pretty much the same across the board. It's just that some people have a HELLUVA lot more diversity within their word count.

I myself have 195k words in one project, spanning across 22 chapters, while others have up to 5 projects with the same word count, spread across God knows how many chapters.

Hell, a small side project I have has 25k words in 10 chapters. Some people DOUBLE the chapter count in that alone.

So don't feel intimidated; if you're working your best, you're already working better than most out here.

As for my projects, I am working on:

1 Beastars Rip-off
and
1 Fallout OC Fan-Fic

As for those still sizzling in a back burner, I have:

1 Cyberpunk Transhumanism Philosophy
1 Fantasy Genre Satire-cum-Deconstruction
2-3 Harem Ecchi plots (Mecha, School, Warfare Academy)
A dozen short stories

I'mma be real with you: I doubt I'll even finish 2 of these ideas I still have. But I'll see where the winds in my sail take me.

1 that I'm publishing on a weekly basis, 2 that I have started recently, but I don't want to start publishing until I am at least half-way through with the story. The one I am publishing isn't pre-written and the stress of meeting my deadline is enormous. I have learned my lesson.

I see you there. Sitting. Pretending to be writing on one screen, while watching youtube videos in the other "for inspiration", while the folder with all the started projects has last modification weeks ago. Yet you lie to yourself that they are still active projects.

So, how many writing projects are you currently "working" on? Especially the unreleased ones.

Cat videos are important study material!

Also, do writing projects that are written in programming languages count?

I have two that I'm making regular updates for, but I'm working on two more. Maybe I'm stretching myself a little thin.

Weirdly enough I am the "one story at a time" type of writer, at least for now. Currently, I am only working on 1 project but I have already (at least) five ideas for new novels that I will start working on after I finish this one! :blobtaco:

Meaning, unending list of projects in your steam library that you start over the years, and never open/finish?

it's only a game if i'm playing them.

and no i don't do steam.

everything else is just a backlog, and it's not like you can't just delete them forever if you're bored. i don't really give a fuck about the result tbh, the process and experience is more important.

I'm working on 69 stories.
Now, that I have your attention, please read the only one I'm publishing. :sweating_profusely:

But, I am trying to make at least 3 more. Working on them every week. I think the true sense is to work everyday. And that's the real target in practicing any hobby!
