As Lamen's friend and editor all I have to say is: Yeah, he does get aggravated easily.
But the amout of times ppl came to complain about my grammar where there was no mistake just because the lazy fucks use MTL to read and the MTL gave a wrong translation are not few.


Lamen does that kind of thing, this is his tertiary platform, He has both a Patreon and a WN with far more readers than here and I can straight up say this is the most toxic reader community off all the ones I post into (I hate RR far more than SH tho but ur mileage may vary)

And it's easy for you to complain for his reaction now, but the amount of shit he's gotten all those months in here made him simply not care about ppls opinions.

As was said by another friend who is also a pretty successful writer: "You can shit on a reader's head and they'll still read ur novel regardless. The only ones that matter are the ones willing to support your work financially, and those most times will not care what you say to others."

That is no excuse.. and he does care if he take the time to retort or selectively delete comments. as soon as he posted his story on a public place he opened himself up to trolls and all kinds of opinions. treating trolls and legitimate hostile people like shit is one thing however as content creator he should either just ignore those or delete them. HE SHOULD NOT treat ever single person like an asshole though especially ones that were trying to help him and delete what they say



Don't know about his other platforms but nobody on sh was was complaining about his or your grammar. the English is fine. sure there is a word here and there that might be wrong or a sentence that seems off. but as I said in one of my comments above I don't care unless it illegible, its not, it is fine. It's even less of an issue when English is not his first language. I will admit some of my comments might not have been put the nicest way possible. make no mistake though i was still being relatively cordial to somebody that's being a straight asshole and that is not going to give me any bad dreams at night.


Him treating non troll or non aggressive readers like shit and insulting and deleting everything that he doesn't like ls. making an echo chamber is terrible . me and another guy were just trying to point out ways that he could make his story better and why his current path is going to make his story and one of his biggest plots points aka the harem into mediocrity at best and a terrible bland cast more then likely if his continues his path .

he didn't have to agree and he didn't have to take our advice. a simple "thanks for you consideration guys but this is my story and I'm not looking for any advice" not a literal "fuck off" retards and all kinds of other insults. I'm done with him now. the insulting was bad enough but as soon as he nukes every comment that does not praise him and any criticism shows a personality and work ethic that I'll have no part in. he seems like the kind of guy that will need somebody to be his pr if he has any plans to ever try to go professional because what he is doing will not fly in public.


He needs to understand that not everybody is out to get him and some people shockingly might actually want to help. When somebody takes an hour out of their day (in my case it was more) to gather their thoughts and give valid criticism trying to help and is met with hostility insults and a dismissive attitude then to top it off it all gets deleted later. he should not be surprised when when the next comment is less positive or people drop his story and then get a negative review.
I liked his story at first. it's still ok now. I would have continued to read had his conduct been better but his actions a few days ago was the final straw after months of his abuse to anybody that has any opinion he he doesn't agree with. I can deal with non happy no sunshine people. I don't deal with dictators however. I would say I wish him successes but I don't, not anymore. not after his behavior and toxicity

this is more me venting now since the topic blew up. my original intent was to ask if an author can delete stuff or if it was mod only and end it there.

laman wrote in a deleted comment chain surprise surprise when somebody commented about one of the sex chapters that nobody read his story for the porn or to masturbate even with the explicit sex and if they did they were some kind of deranged sicko . at first i thought he was being sarcastic but I reread the whole comment chain and all the context pointed to him being serious. his delusions cued me into his lack of logic and comprehension to the real world. I know this is a lost cause I'm not expecting and kind of change or resolution, though I'm not against trying to have a polite conversation with lamen. but I know this will go nowhere. As far as dm's go, well i welcome them. i can show people what toxic is if they deserve toxic. I dont get many chances for the gloves to come off so when they do, oh boy do I enjoy it
