that to! but It really varies from person to person cause for me I try to make sure my meaning is somewhat layered but easy to understand but most of the time people interpret things in different ways that might seem dumb,stupid,smart,or just plain offensive but when I was starting out It took some time for me to relize that I might need to write fanfics or something else until I could work on my strengths and weeknesses as writer and also handling critism is key for any writier starting out because if you don't then it will screw with you mentally

I agree with @Assurbanipal_II. Besides the article itself says that it will be close to impossible to convict the author for what he wrote. A shame, nonetheless, that he was actually arrested and accused of such thing. From what I understand the scene in question describes a child abuse scene as a horrible, traumatic thing, not as an erotic description. So it simply mirrors a very tragic and shameful, but also very real event. I can't even count the number of litereary works I've read describing similar things. Ah, even scientific books, like psychology manuals, have such descriptions and even include pictures. This kind of action borders on middle-ages censorship. Don't write about it, don't talk about it, and let's all pretend that it doesn't exist.
