I think this could work as a Fanfic since this is like a mashup of Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, and Beauty and the Beast.

Maybe some kind of parody. The ML must travel with his best friends—a small talking dragon and meerkat—through wonderland on his flying carpet, where guided by his cricket conscious, he gets the sword in the stone. Afterwards, he battles the Octopus Witch, defeats her, and gives her a kiss, which transforms her into a frog and wakes the mermaid princess.
