I stumble upon this animation channel and was shock at some videos. Some of this have some hentai tags while avoiding the youtube police.

One such video was kinda shocking and I just want to share your inputs on how cruel slavery is.

I can't help but get mad at this noble for showing how cruel humans are.

Edit: it seems that people haven't watch the video and ended up taking my words seriously instead of a joke. So I'll explain it clearly.

The video is about an orphaned demi-girl who caused an accident and messed with a noble who looks like he was planning on doing evil to her.

In the end, it turns out to be a wholesome story in which the noble might look and act evil but he had provided a much better benefits on slavery by providing a proper work environment, gives good benefits than her previous workplace and even treated her more of a human than an actual slave would be.

So, I was just jokingly talking crap since the video is just a wholesome one just taking the hentai scenario to a twist.

Slavery isn't that bad as long as it's slavery for labor, or slavery for some other purpose. Because if it becomes slavery for the sake of slavery (that includes sexual fetishes, I'd say), or slavery because it's natural, the thing that matters stops being the slave, but what drives the slavery.

Some might argue that the living conditions of slaves in ancient Egypt were inhumane, but they couldn't be inhumane. They were bad, sure, but if they were inhumane, the slaves would be entirely useless as labor force, which was the thing that mattered for Egyptians. And the pyramids should be enough to show what can be accomplished with slavery.

In that case what matters is the labor, and consequently the condition of the slave. Their purpose was labor, and they needed to be in condition to work efficiently. You can even say that about sex workers. As slaves, their condition might be bad, but there is a border no one would cross without good reason unless they wanted to lose a worker.

The problem starts when neither the physical or mental condition of the slave matter, and that's what is happening in most of the hentai you could find.

But I guess all there is to it is how accustomed someone is to slavery. There are those who make other people become more accustomed to it, and there are those who do the opposite, depending on the treatment and a lot of other things.

Two replies in and I'm already glad most of us ended up as amateur hobbyist writers and not on a seat in Congress.
The fact that the contrast of me trying to play a joke and ended up making a serious topic is so saddening to the point I understand and not understand considering I have a high grade on psychology yet flunk out on my socialist class.

Yeah, I saw this last night and didn't know how to respond. Thanks for clarifying!

I think it might have been that because ScribbleHub turned to 'SmutHub', all the people's brains here had turned to smut to the point where they can't translate the joke into their heads. Or it could be that I'm so bad at making jokes that they misunderstandings turn out like this.

My guess is on the latter due to being misunderstood frequently to the point my entire being can be misunderstood like some sort of main character in a story.
