You're correct. It's the puffy shoulders of the dress she's wearing. Here's the reference of the dress I chose.@Lloyd I think it's just a puffy shirt.
@ScholarOccultCauldron PC is absolutely correct but I wouldn't assume that it's meant as an insult brah.
Look at the shoulder/head ratio in both of those. The reference is way way better, with the shoulders only being like 1.5 times as big as the head. Yours is like 2 to 3 times biggerYou're correct. I'll post the finished sketch when I'm done.
Except her head (in the referense) is half torso in the size and bigger than her bust, so obliviously it's enlarged, which is nothing new for anime, but non necessary a right way to draw character.Look at the shoulder/head ratio in both of those. It's fairly obvious that their bodily proportions wouldn't be the same as they are different characters.Look at the shoulder/head ratio in both of those. The reference is way way better, with the shoulders only being like 1.5 times as big as the head. Yours is like 2 to 3 times bigger
Yeah if you are drawing a completely different gender (male). It's fairly obvious that their bodily proportions wouldn't be the same as they are different characters.
