This thread's status right now (because of the whole buzzyness created by our local deity octopus and the cutely menacing robot Tsuru):

We should support people with their ideas as long as it's not objectively bad.

Take for example, that one guy from a few months ago outright asking for permission to make a third reich isekai. Questioning if he should given the subject matter. Look at him now. It blew up on here and on webnovel, and people love it.

It's more like respect them and let them alone.

I would like to agree with you about supporting them, but some specific thing prevents me from doing so...

And I dont think quagma is very cordial :

There is Reina that gonna report it. Because i caught her eyes by my criticism of quagma on their (quagma) profile.
Now let's see if it will close or not.

Good things is despite my high blood pressure moments from stupidity of others, it helped me identify some people to add to my "ignore list"
Better to know who are the "enemies bad people" sooner than later, am i right ? XD

Only thing I disagree with that you said, was that you mentioned trans-people. They aren't a people. They aren't real. It's a fake/false identity. It's no more real than if I called myself a pokemon-person. You are legitimizing their delusions by calling them a people. They are just a group of mental health patients that will never see that padded-cell they need/deserve because the vast majority of mental health hospitals in the U.S. closed in the 80's/early 90's and never reopened, and few if any alternatives were made available.

This is why nowadays, psychologists and therapists just throw a new pill at a problem, because that's the only viable solution they realistically have. Only the really really screwy ones, the barking- at-the-moon types or the suicidal types, get sent to mental health hospitals. They have no room for much else.
