Usage of Spoilers or News

Can someone please tell me how to use them correctly? All I'm getting is the text under the field not inside...

Experiment a lot with the preview function and most of the functions and tags will start and end with the same word in the code, so just make sure if the content is between it. Nothing stupid there, it's not like everyone has to know how everything functions from the get-go.

Will look into the thread, there are quite a few functions I probably would have never used without a guide.
