Ultimately, meaningless...
All life obviously have the purpose of survival and reproduction, but is there really a meaning to it all? In the big picture, are we really so different from the rocks we stand on? Sure, we think, we actively try to understand and bring change to the universe we are a part of, unlike a rock, but is that meaning enough? It's as if a cell of yours tried to find its meaning inside your body, but in comparison, to us the universe is hundreds of millions of times bigger than our body would be to the cell. Not to mention, a cell is at least an integral part of our workings as a lifeform, but are we to the universe itself? We are such an unbelievably tiny part of the universe that it really looks unfeasible to put a meaning behind our existence. We all surely have our own purposes to live, but when looked at from the universal scale and the temporal dimension, such purposes fall short to actually create any meaningful or lasting impact...
