What happens when you update the glossary?

I edit and update the glossary of my story (Lonely Mountain) weekly on Fridays.

Each time I update, the viewer numbers on the statistics page increase notably.

What is the reason for this? Does the AI suggests the story more or do my readers get notifications?

Any idea?

Also take into account that the updated glossary means there is another page that readers will be reading. That counts as a view.

More than likely it's just refreshing your stats as the same can be achieved by rating yourself and changing the description etc. Basically anything that would require your story's main page to be refreshed asap to reflect changes. In other words it's more like you are getting an accurate or live update to your current views for updating the glossary.
