C'mon, you have that peak, right?

That absolute ceiling of creation and artistry that you strive for; that one tip encompassing the very reason why you embarked on that journey in the first place; that objective that gets your pen writing and your fingers typing.

This isn't the WHY YOU WRITE thread. This is the end-goal you chase that justifies the reason you put in the effort. Of course, you can just do it while liking it, just like how we're all liars.

You know that deep down, you have that peak you want to reach. The nipple of all tiddies, the cream of all crops, the mother of all omelettes, the cherry to all pies, the trigger of all guns, the father of all e-girls, the girlfriend of all nice guys-

Tell me about it; tell me about that scumbag within you that drives your creativity into fruition.

if someone makes porn fanart or smut fanfic of my work, I can justify stopping writing entirely. That's my peak. It's pretty cool to think about it; you've made a set of characters so alluring that a subset of your audience wants to breed with them. or if someone makes a video discussing my work. not a review, but a video essay. making something deep enough to warrant someone making a scholar-esque view of said creation; that'll stroke my ego at a jackhammer rate. either one or the two; I'll be happy about it.

My ultimate goal is to make a shared Xianxia-ish universe like ErGen, where the stories of all the novels written as a part of it are connected into one big omniverse. Maybe a novel at the end where they all meet? Dunno if I'll really do that yet tho. I'd like to see fans make a wiki that connects all the works and compiles the powers/personality of all the characters lmao. Also seeing an in-depth analysis of my work and the mentality behind my characters would be a massive boost to my ego. Currently I've achieved 0% of that goal, but eh whatever.

When people start making manga/fan art of my stuff and having a decent viewership from it. When more people start making art of my characters and sharing them.

When people start having legit waifu wars over my female characters.

Doesn't have to be something that goes viral or what, but if I can confidently say that I have an actual fanbase, that's it. I'm not gonna stop writing, and it's far from a "peak" but gotta keep expectations realistic.

I'll be as happy as I can be from that I guess.

Goal - become good writer. Plot, grammar. Mostly plot. Write several stories out - the main ones always wanted to write.
Dream - successfully traditionally publish, turn it into a livable career.

Literally began writing because a lot of mainstream people write awful overrated stuff, and I seek to write somethings better. Then I changed my purpose to it’s pretty cool writing.

Well, I've always had a lot of stories that I want to tell, but I never had the skills neither the time do write them.

My ultimate goal is to be good enough at writing that I'll be able to finish the novels that I want, they will be well written, and they will help me pay my bills so I can focus on writing more.

My main goal is to enjoy myself and become a good enough writer to publish my stories. Making some money and allowing others to enjoy what I create would be nice but it is pretty much a bonus for me rather than the main goal.
