I prefer stories where everyone ends up in a polyamorous relationship. However, if you look at reality, most relationships (monogamous ones included) come to an end when people realize they're not right for each other. You might have a person break away from the relationship here or there, but to me, that doesn't necessarily mean their partner was stolen.

Usually 4chan incels (involuntary celibates, aka people who have trouble getting laid or relationships) who have an aversion to anything that makes them seem or feel less manly or reminds them of their frustrations.

(No shade, just my observations -- they regularly spit the word "cuck" with disdain like it's the worst thing a person could be.) These same people would also probably participate in a threesome or sleep with their family members if given a chance. To me, those are along the same lines.

NTR is just like any other taboo kink. These same sorts tend to love stuff like incest, revenge porn, etc.

It's all equally screwed up on some level (morally depraved usually) -- they just don't see it that way because we're all different.

I think it's just the fad to dislike nowadays.

If u are asking why people hate ntr fiction, these are my answer

1. They are projecting too much

2. They can't leave behind their morality

3. Ntr is not their cup of tea

I mean.. who, in their right mind, would want their lover to be taken from them? Sometimes the said lover gets railed in front of their significant other. Who the hell wants that???

Googling NTR gave me this as the top resulted definition: "The NTR genre is propably the most controversial genre within anime and manga. If you havent heard of it yet i'll give you a quick explanation. NTR stands for netorare ( whatever that means ) die. Basically it involves emotional hurting the significant other and with this also the audience."

This statement:
I can understand hating the antagonist character, but in my opinion the more you hate a villain, the more satisfying it is when they are finally defeated.

I have to ask: how often do the protagonists "win" in NTRs? With Google's definition, I have to question if that is the goal of NTRs. Is it really a revenge story? Are NTRs just stories about affairs or something worse?

Depends on who the protagonist is. A lot of NTR is from the perspective of the woman, who technically ends up winning.

v This is. Because now we're not simply disliking a genre, we're hating a group of people for something they're interested in. What's wrong with letting people swing within their ballpark if it ain't hurting anyone?
That sounds very similar to how some react towards GB/TG/BL/GL (or anything sexual) content.

I didn't hate NTR until I started reading Korean pornwhas(prolly butchered that). The levels in some of them were crazy. I read them for story, stayed for the henti scenes and left when the hardcore NTR came.
Now that you mentioned it, is there one that doesn't have NTR in it? I have yet to see even one thus far... I had to admit that since every single one I tried had NTR in them I stopped reading them at all. As such, there might be some without that I haven't had the patience to search for...

Soooooo, I ask to be enlightened by the brave warriors who didn't give up as I did.

NTR is usually just a plot device to drive sexual deeds, which is fine if your story revolves around ecchi or smut or anything of the sort. When NTR appears in an inclusive story that focuses on plot-driven events, character arcs, and growth, then NTR is rarely done correctly. For me, it's a 50/50 coinflip on that aspect, but they can be done right.
