So do you find the obsession with yanderes/tsunderes weird, too?
I would never want to meet one in real life. I like my own personal space way too much to ever want a Yandere, and Tsundere mood swings sound really annoying. I hate mental gymnastics.

I say this specifically for romance targeted toward women and...well, women still because I don't know how any gay man could stomach what comes out of yaoi. But why is the romance genre the way it is? Why do people enjoy writing and reading what comes out of it? Why do people find sexual harassment, stalking, and hairy/abusive men attractive?

What's up with that?
To be honest, IDK lol
But to be brutally honest, people write/read it as a form of escape because they are seeking some kind of stimulus in their life. It's the same reason why people watch anything tbh. Whether they agree with it is not really dependent on if they read it either, if that makes sense. So, basically, it is what it is. There is a lot of romance novels that are more chill lol

"People like to get what they can't get"
On another note, this makes me doubt how they even 'fantasized' these things...
'Suspicious'.
