Eh, I could see it being a good posture, if you were left handed and worried about recoil. Not really though. Hand is too far back

cause it's a no recoil rifle, my story a sci-fi one so this scene has a rifle of the future🗿no recoil, packs a punch, one handed.

That makes it worse, not better. The reason people hold a rifle the way they do is to support its weight and help aim. Both are still problems with a recoilless rifle.
Holding it from the top means you're worried the recoil is going to kick it back and smack you in the face. Not a problem for your weapon.
