So there is this korean bl novel that I have been wanting to read for a very long time.... it has not been translated by anyone ....so I have decided to translate it...
(I desperately wanted to read it)

I was wondering if I should post it here for others to read....

If anyone's interested do tell....

Name- 라스트 오메가 (Last Omega)

Description-

Unlike the past when Alphas and Omegas were abundant, today, in the 23rd century, there are only 1% of them.

Alphas are still at the top of the food chain through persistent bloodline succession, while Omegas have dried up due to indiscriminate exploitation and murder.

The upper class of the 23rd century must borrow the belly of an Omega to give birth to an Alpha in order to pass on their power, wealth, and knowledge. Everyone is obsessed with finding an Omega. The last Omega, Kang Ye-ha, and the Alpha Choi Han-geon who covets his heart as well as his body.

I was under the impression translations are technically allowed, as long as they are clearly marked as such and are "hidden", only to be linked from NU or other such sites, but not appearing on the front page?

That said...
So there is this korean bl novel
This is where you lost me. But supposedly there is some audience for BL here on SmutHub.

If you want to publish it, then Novelupdates, Scribble Hub's sister site, is for translations. Not sure if there's an audience for that though.

No, I like BL but I hate it when it's like this, when both the top and bottom literally look the same, and when its about the Omegaverse bullshit, such a retarded way to "justify" their attraction instead of just writing beliavable romance and passion...
Also why do all korean and chinese BL have both characters always look almost identical? Why can't the top be larger and muscular, perhaps even hairy or have a beard? Why can't the bottom be more femenine, curvy and actually look like a cutie instead of a walking stick?
Why do both have to have:
Same body type.
Same face.
Same hair style.
Same hair color.
????
It's like they're fucking their own clones or something!

I still don't know what the appeal of the omegaverse schtick is.

From what I've gathered, they really are just a lazy way to establish character by just slapping a label like they're Omega, Alpha, Beta, etc, instead of actually introducing them properly.

Correct, translations are allowed (if marked)
Don’t know why they asked about if people would read a translated here instead of NovelUpdates tho lmao

Btw, unless ScribbleHub changed their laws, this prohibition is limited to translations pretending to be original stories.

This doesn't really make sense. The whole problem with the translation is that they are directly hosted on this site, as opposed to NovelUpdates where you only link the translation to another site. So no, on SH, translations should not be allowed unless you have permission from the copyright owner and Tony.

yeah, its a way to force attraction between characters without having to do any previous set-up like any other story, it also implies a more sex-drive romance where they must follow their instincts to fuck this other guy... its stupid, but women love it.
I mean, you could do the same with normal humans anyway? but well, its also used to justify male pregnancy and for everyone to see it normally in the world... i also think they use it to justify Omega women being futanari and being able to impregnate men
Bara doesn't count.
not talking about Bara, I dont like it

My dude, my apologies, because I know you’re just trying to be accurate with the facts. But, you simply don’t have all the facts.

I will push you to this thread here: https://forum.scribblehub.com/threa...and-reporting-translations.22997/#post-530102

Made by the very reliable (I’m being genuine here) source of Corty.
If you don’t feel like clicking, the main post explicitly states:
“Now, that being said, an important part for you, possible translators reading this:

Uploaded translations are NOT deleted, but are instead HIDDEN. Why? To not take away spots from others on the front page, on trending, or on the whole site. Yes. The whole site. The front page is just the most relevant part of it. ScribbleHub is for original stories; it is in the tagline. Still, if you are a translator and use ScribbleHub to host your translations, to do that, you must disclose them so that when manual approval occurs, it can be flagged as such. Then, you can do the following:
  • Head to NovelUpdates, ScribbleHub's sister site.
  • Register.
  • Go to "User Profile."
  • Click "Add Release."
  • Fill out the form.
Done. Edit your series as necessary, and you are golden. You will be found by those who are looking for translations, and you are not hustling over those people for whom this site was made in the first place.”

TL;DR
Translators can use ScribbleHub to host translations. They will not be shown on the main page, but they will also not be taken down.

It is also completely okay for translators to do this. I have read a couple of translated series here myself

Edit: Actually, I read through that thread and you’ve actually posted on it. My bad mate! I think you had a misunderstanding on what it means to be a translation on this site OR we’ve been talking about different things.

So I will be explicitly clear, as long as a novel is explicitly labeled to be a translation, it is allowed to be hosted on ScribbleHub. It is not allowed for it to be present on the site in a way that is viewable if we search directly on Scribblehub; it is only linked through NovelUpdates.

Thaz all lol

I like BL.

Thing is, I'm Korean, so I can just read straight from the source. :)

And yeah, listen to Wrath. Lmao.
