I received a request for this topic a while back, so it's been on my list to get around to. I'm glad to finally complete it, as it took me some time to think this through.

I'm releasing another video tomorrow, so look forward to that. I will also release a new project I've wanted to do tomorrow. I'm just putting the final touches on it today.

Boy did I need this video, because the only perspective I have is human, what with me being human and not non-human in any way shape or form and certainly not an ever shifting pile of writhing nightmares, that would be CRAZY.

Cool. Have tried to do this in role-playing games and it is at least as much of a challenge there as in writing. If I ever get enough of "Stranded" finished for posting (it's about an alien scout who was separated from the racial hive mind by an accident that also left him stranded on the planet he was to help evaluate for conquest: Earth)

There was a character on the MUD I used to play that constantly criticized non-human players as "Humans with pointy ears." Yeah he was evil and just used this as a way to vilify good characters but it really worked well. "Those half-elf rangers don't care about the forest, they just spend most of their time drinking in taverns." Stuff like that. His character was very well thought out.

Also, I heard on a podcast talking about a dog's perception of the world. Viewing the world by smell would be like having a glance into the past. Something with a good sense of smell could sniff you and get an idea where you'd been and the things that you'd interacted with recently. It is an interesting way to describe how animals experience the world.
