Hey everyone! I'm working on a modern-day reimagining of the gods as teenagers, and I'd love to hear your thoughts on this design for Zeus! :)

I feel like Zeus as a modern teen would probably have the American fuckboy Kyle/Andrew Tate style personality but be way too charismatic and commanding for his own good. The clothing style would probably go along with it to match. The art is amazing though!

Won't it be boring? Hades from Hercules has nothing to do with Hades from mythology, but he is brilliant, no?

True, Hades is reimagined very well. It all depends on how he is written. It also depends on how the other gods interact with him. All of these made Hades from Hercules great, but fail on any of these front,s and it becomes boring.

I have a question that's always been a big one for me. Who would win in a one-on-one fight, Odin or Zeus? What do you guys think?

Zeus pretty much acts like a hormonal teenager anyway so... The young Odin seems good - have you seen an Australian TV show called "The Almighty Johnsons"? It has the Norse Gods hiding out in New Zealand until an event triggers their "activation" - and the youngest of them turns out to be Odin.

As for a fight between them, it would depend on how many of their resources they can pull in. If Zeus only has his Thunderbolt and Odin just ... what is it Grugnir, his spear, Zeus pretty much takes it, solely because he has one of the best ranged weapons in the universe - but if Odin can call upon Freki, Sleipnir, Hugin and Munin, unless Zeus has access to other gods to assist, the Norse warrior god takes the win.

Zeus isn't really a fighter, while Odin is, plus Odin is cunning, more than Zeus. Apart from experience and their personalities, Zeus' thunderbolts are finite. His thunderbolts aren't a magic he casts, but something cyclopes make. Meanwhile Gungnir can pierce anything. So I think Odin will win, how exactly; with some cunning plan I guess.
