    Is Classic Fantasy still relevant?

Why do you feel they struggle as web novels?

    Is Classic Fantasy still relevant?

As I stated initially: with elves; dwarves; wizards with poiinty hats; and dark lords.

    Is Classic Fantasy still relevant?

How many of these examples have every facet of classic fantasy? Many current works use one or some of them (eg. dwarves, wizards, and elves), but how common is it to use all of them? Is that because it's not popular enough, both with readers and writers? Or is it a problem with the search engine?

    Is Classic Fantasy still relevant?

Does classic fantasy (with elves; dwarves; wizards with poiinty hats; and dark lords etc) still have a place in modern literature, or have we moved past that? Do readers still enjoy it?

How often do you guys take breaks?

I write almost every day. Almost on Monday. Almost on Tuesday....<old joke>. But seriously... I write most days. Some times I need to step away for a day or two, but it's never generally more than that unless I'm sick. I enjoy what I do. It's difficult, but rewarding.

I hate it when I get invested in a story and the writer just stops!

The best way to encourage any artist is to toss a coin to your witch...them. I know that's not viable for everyone, but even a token amount makes a massive difference in motivation. Praise, comments, upvotes, reviews all help too. Writing is a lonely business and it's difficult. Having...

    Need openion

Then it shouldn't be a problem. Anything that is underpowered they wipe out quickly. Anything overpowered they can run away from. It's where the combantants are closely matched that becomes the issue, and that just makes good drama and develops character.

It only becomes a problem when they're battling constantly. If battles are measured then it should work fine. It depends if you're taking a more realistic approach or more superheroish. With the later you can adapt the ruleset to match, which I believe op has already done.

Tips for finding more readers on SH?

I personally don't feel it works at any level. It attracts no emotional response at all. Even something that readers hate would be better. Good luck being found on Wattpad? You really need to bring an audience with you, unless you're lucky enough to be discovered within the initial 10minute...

What other sites besides ScribbleHub do you post in?

Apart from here, I post on RR and Patreon. I used to post on Wattpad and Inktt, but I don't see any point when nobody can find my work without a direct link. I'm curious how anyone gets found on sites like Wattpad or Inktt, where there's no way to appear in search without already being popular.
