SCHOOL settings in stories 🏫

Had a discussion about school settings in stories at the start of the year.

Questions for you guys: What are your thoughts on the school settings? Do you use it in your own works?
(These questions MAY be on the test )

For me, I cant say there is a school setting in my stories. But I do think that the school setting is a solid place to help build up the world and prepare the characters for the real world.

I don't think I've ever written anything based in a high school setting as I haven't been to high school since dinosaurs roamed the earth and I did not have a good time. I do enjoy transmigration stories that involve a high school experience as part of them growing up to eventually becoming an adult. Just not the slice of life stuff because I cannot relate to the schools those authors write.

My current arc is a school arc. Compared to my previous arc, it's more calm, my mc can relax a bit, there also lot to learn there for him and the installations are good for training.
