I had to read that a few times due to misinterpreting it to mean you get excited about readers leaving you in droves because of a chapter you released.

No, I meant that the opposite. The two chapters I've been most excited about and hoped that my readers would love were the ones where I got a ton of drops, and it just makes me frustrated and salty about the whole thing.

And I did say I initially misinterpreted, which means I did figure out what you actually meant after several re-reads.

I'm pretty sure the term 'dense lesbrick' describes me pretty well, @Nahrenne , so I get it. I really do.

it's unfortunate that the chapters you expect to be popular coincide with a large number of dropped readers, do you think it might be just bad timing?
