btw can I just say one thing?
I was writing a stupid Marvel fanfic but I felt like the writing was too personal and I laying my soul naked for every single person to see
I had to stop, although I love the idea, it gives me a bit of anxiety......

I was writing about four people at the same time
the main character
the "split personality" he has
the person she has going to become
and me, maybe subconsciously

too exhausting for one cake to handle

For me at least, there is no such thing as too personal!
Perhaps that is why you aren't able to read my writing... It all makes sense now!

I rewrote and added more lines to the 1st chapter and it made me really happy and fulfilled, I felt that there was something missing and I found it now.

anyway, the first fanfic I was talking about was a male psychiatrist "transmigrating" as Harley Quinn before she got crazy but in Marvel
after a weirdly intense (at least to me) masturbation scene, I lost all gas because of my anxiety and stuff...

those types of fanfics thrive with a lot of chapters because of the simplicity

maybe they're already the same person, there's a system, they (the MC and Harleen) are similar, maybe she was hallucinating about being in the real world, maybe this a trans allegory, maybe we're all inside an alien's marble,,,

~Hmmmhmmmhmmm~ *musical humming* I don't believe there are too many premises... One thing you can do is push your story to evolve into your own story. Once there is enough differences, once you have replaced them with your own unique dynamics, it'll be yours and you will no longer shackled by the expectations of the masses (i.e. the fanfic readers).

When it comes to smut and porn tastes, they are very personal, and I don't really have any ability to handle it with tact or advise on it.
If it's good for you, as long as you use that moment for maximum impact in chapters (don't waste unique emotions. If it was weirdly intense, then bring it up. Slowly but surely tiptoe your way along the path! It will be fun!
