Does favourite mean something you really enjoyed for the experience you had while reading it for the first time, or does it mean for something you'd read again and again?

One that I'd read again and again is: 'Quickly Wear The Face Of The Devil'.
I enjoyed writing my own story and like the plot of it: 'Reincarnated As A Crystal Beast'.
When I was reading, I was enjoying: 'The Good For Nothing Seventh Young Lady'.
As for an impactful story that got me thinking about things: 'The Fionavar Tapestry' trilogy by Guy Gavriel Kay.
