    Giving extras names

Case-by-case basis. If they only show up for a couple of scenes, then I don't name them. If they are in a couple of chapters, then yes I'd give them a name because it be too much of a hassle to constantly call them by their adjectives, titles, or whatever.

Seeing people talk ill about others as if they are not part of the problem really need to take a hard look at themselves in the mirror and ask, "Why am I such a piece of shit?" There are at least 2 people in this community that need to really do this. Ignorance is a sin.

It’s very common in the US for people to act “smart” or “enlightened” by using facts from a history book in the wrong way. It’s like the Nazis justifying their genocide against the Jews because they ousted Jesus Christ to the Roman Empire. I’m just ranting at this point.

You know when people say, “US government statistics say that 50% (giving a random number) of gun violence in America happens in poor black communities so that must means that black people must be more violent than whites,” That’s racist.

When you use statistics and historical facts to justify that one race or group of people are inferior: that is fucking racism. Just letting people know.

    Do you use scene breaks?

I used to. Not anymore. I think it is necessary to use Scene Breaks if your chapters are longer and have more than 1 or 2 scenes in them.

    Gaining more readers/audiences

Do research on what your target audience wants and give it to them. Post daily/weekly/in a timely manner so that your audience's attention doesn't wane. Communication here and there to update your audience on what is happening with the series.

    Creating Unique Cultures

I see. So if the setting only takes place in a single country/cultural region, it is better to just not write out more than you need to.

Ahh that makes sense. A good reason to have a harem without it feeling forced.

That's a lot of spouses for humans. Do they get married all at once or does the Husband/Wife get to marry again after the initial time?

What’s your take on nationalism in novels?

"Koreans are the bitchboys of East Asia. North Korea only exists because it strokes a Chinese dick. South Korea exists because Americans happen to like you and need a counterweight against North Korea and China. Otherwise, you'd be licking a Japanese or Chinese boot right about now. And...

    Tell not show

Pretty much this. Sometimes, authors tend to repeat details several times, but in different ways to add depth or perspective. It's repetitive I say. Describe what is important in the scene, sprinkle key details to the plot here and there, and move on with the story.

    Creating Unique Cultures

That's interesting that your Demon Culture sees marriage as enslavement. Probably due to the "marriage vows" and swearing yourself to only one other person, correct?

    Creating Unique Cultures

Yeah. It is sometimes easier to just take something that is already done, especially if it has been done over a thousand times (Medieval Europe, Fantasy Egypt, Generic Elves) Are there any small aspects of life that you always take into consideration when making your cultures? I know some...

    Creating Unique Cultures

How do you guys go about creating unique cultures within your fantasy worlds? Do you take influences and inspiration from modern cultures found around the world today or in the past? Or do you try to build it off of the unique characteristics of a particular race or species? An example of that...

How many chapters does your first 20,000 words take up?

When I was writing 5k words per chapter it was like 4 chapters to reach 20k word count. 6-7 now since I write chapter at 2.5k to 3k words.

What are you good at when writing?

Nice. I watch a lot of crime procedurals like Bones, Castle, Criminal Masterminds, etc. so I feel like I got some decent ideas for a murder plot.
