Once I watched this sketch about Candy Crush, where one of the characters laid a hand on her chest, and said that she just had a heart attack. Then she smiled, and said it passed, started speaking like nothing happened.

I am the same way with my writer's blocks, burnouts, whatever you would like to call them. For a week or two, everything is great. I churn out two-three chapters per day of fresh and hot word vomit. And then I lay a hand on my chest, and I am like that character in the sketch.

The writing block comes, I take it easy for a couple of days, then it passes. And so, I go back to burning my candle on both ends, while chewing up the middle like a Chihuahua, which suffers from dwarfism.

@SailusGebel, yes, again.

I can only give you a consolatory hug and hope that the muse returns to inspire you.
It's not much, but I genuinely hope so with all my heart.
