First of all, there are small typos on the synopsis. It may scare away some readers who get cancer from typo.
Secondly your chapter are long, which give a good idea of your writing style and story from the first few chapter. I personally liked the intro.
Finally, the interaction between the characters are good for me, it still don't have many chapter but I can already see the "texture" of the members of the family.
