Who is the hero of your life?

My main hero has to be Maya Angelou. She faced so much in her life - racism, abuse, homelessness - yet she kept pushing on. She wrote some of the most beautiful poems and taught me a valuable lesson: life is tough but it doesn't mean you can't rise.😌 Like you, I've had my ups and downs. And...

    Business advice.

It's really amusing to read about your misadventures on this thread. Sorry for resurrecting an old post, but your situation's too hilarious to ignore. Man, you've got yourself a proper teen detective mystery, haven't you? I'm almost picturing a Scooby-Doo episode. It's got all the plot twists!🤣...

    How are RPGs fellow zoomers?

They've gotten prettier. Dialogue is relatively the same though since there's very little way to streamline the process of writing an voiceacting. Usally there's good diversity in gameplay, sometimes ther isn't Mount and Blade bannerlord/Warband, Kingdom Delivrance, Breath of the Wild, and...

    My story' is pirated

    1. My condolences, it must feel pretty irking to have your hard work, not just distributed without your knowledge, but taken. 2. [High-five] Congratulations, this means you're on your way up.

I guess I should not have neglected Scribble Hub?

Scribblehub has a very good search system. It makes it easier for readers to find what they want rather than different algorithms guessing what they want based on abstract notions of popularity. In most cases, i think you'll have a high chance of steady growth here, whereas in other sites I've...

The absolute state of Scribble Hub

Yeah, that's definitely me. Editing is a huge part of writing. I keep telling myself I will go back and edit chapters, but I'm not sure I will until the story is done. It's an ongoing experiment of a story and due to the scope of the project, I'm not sure how I want to edit it. I'm not sure...

    Silver-white hair.

Salt and pepper is more realistic, so you can gofor a heavy salt hair. As long as the hair is thick and oily enoigh, it could appear glossy..

    Fancfic writing help(DC mostly)

I'm failry deep into writing a marvel fanfic. My advice is to keep the story very narrow. I choose not to do that even though i knew it eould go haywire. Such large universes tend to go very out of wack very quickly.

If you don't like the author of a story...

No, it doesn't bother me. Respect your enemies and hate the sin, not the sinner.

    How to . . .

4: reveal something impactful at the end of a scene. Something like a dialogue line or background detail that you know is somewhat out of the ordinary. Isolate it so readers easily recognize it. Dont expand on it, keep it a small sentence.

How to make a villain leave the work with grace?

Mob villians should be regular characters who we are introduced to, they then leave their impact in a single scene. Then they are vanquished. Short and meaningful. We don't typically see these because more time equals more content to sell, or sometimes it's hard to put down your hard work...

Why do so many Mcs have weird relationships with their little sisters?

If we write them enough, we can bring sweet little sisters into reality. It's like bargaining. You aim way to high and you get what you actually want.

Writing 1st Person or 3rd Person

You should have a reason to write a certain way. 1st person is more personal, it can reveal direct thoughts. But you cant always show things to the reader you don't want the mc to see. You typically want to write 3rd person or write with extra POVs if you want to get creative.

What are your inspirations for writing?

I wasn't inspired by anime, manga, or light novels. It was high fantasy series like Christopher Paolini's Inheritance Cycle that got me into writing. I just want to bring my perspective and my lessons to the world. I'm still a little away from doing that with my current skills, but hopefully...

    time to write 2000 words

It depends on on my mood and how much I spent planning or brainstorming the chapter. But the minimum is 1 hour writing and 1 hour editing.
