Synth is posted on MoonQuill, RoyalRoad, Here, and Neovel (Neovel is the main site, and the one I promote most.) It is premium on Neovel ( they're great, they don't make you do exclusive there even if you're premium) so people can read the first 50 chapters before they need to be a premium...

Clearly this is - as has been pointed out- not the market for me. At the advice and very clear critique of many people, I will be closing my commissions on this site.

Indeed! I much prefer websites that pay their authors for the content they provide. Unfortunately those are few and far between, and traditional publishing is hard to break into

XD tbh this I think is the biggest fear for someone saying they’re accepting commissions…and it happened. And I’m fine. I’m kinda grateful that I got slapped in the face with the worst and took it like a champ

That really is a big issue :( when artists undersell their work they force other artists to do the same
