I don't really know the average word count to put in my chapters. What do you guys opinion on these particular subject, my first story has only 600 words per chapter, and it's definitely short. I'm making another one but this time with a 1,500 words, it is focus on world building and characters(not lit rpg btw)

1k, but my current project is a collection of short stories, and I treat every short story as a chapter, so for this project it is 2k.

For my first story where I was pantsing hard, releasing another chapter basically every day, and not bothering to edit or plan anything? 1500-2000 per chapter was standard, leaning towards 2000.
For my second story where I have a weekly release of one chapter, am editing, and have far more of a plan? I try for 3-4k words.

2000 words per chapter.
It is something I can put out almost daily without burning out.
Long ago, I remember reading an article about chapter length.
It advised the chapters to be around 2500 words long.
It is a length a writer can reasonably aim for if it's a full-time endeavour. Granted, the article assumed the updates are daily.
For a reader, it is an easy-to-consume amount. They don't have to plan their time to just read a chapter.
Anything shorter and it is not enough to include descriptions/plot/dialogue.
I hope this helps.

Cheers,

Between 1k - 2k. I didn't plan for web serial, so I have to split my chapters into parts, otherwise it would be somewhere between 5k - 8k (some ch could go above 10k) per chapter, which is not too good for online releases, I think. 1.5k seems like a good middle ground.

2.17 K
It usually ranges around 2k but a chapter could have 2.6K or 1.8K depending on what I plan to fit into the chapter, I try not to let it stretch beyond that. Sometimes when I'm in the zone and realize I wrote 2.9K words I'll go a bit back and cut the chapter off from a certain point and move whatever was written into the next chapter.
I also update daily

my last viewed and edited document had 6k words, which felt long to me. It was surprising. I write for one of my hobbies and for fun as well, and I didn't realize how lengthy it had become. I suppose my friends are right, that I can be absentminded sometimes

Just over 2,000 words, released every other day. When I start my second story on here in a couple months, it'll still be 2k per chapter, except 3x / week on new story and 2x weekly on current one.

1,3k-1,5k-1,7k for webnovels/mobile reading.

My eyes need a break, and the next button reminds me to move/blink. :ROFLMAO:
I think it's better to upload 2x1,5k word chapters than a 1x3k word chapter.

Around 1.75k is my average but I don't try to write a specific amount. It's always when the chapter feels like it should end (which left me with a 200ish-word chapter once).
