For starters, this tempera paint for playing in the bathtub. I'm doing it through Subscribe and Save, so I won't get it until the 21st, but that means I save 15% on it. I'll be keeping it stashed away and only take out a few bottles at a time until he gets more skill points.

Found some watercolor paints that should be good quality for the price but haven't tried them yet.
