What about desks? They are similar to the tables but have much more dignified noble looks!

i don't mind desks since people don't use them to slot obnoxious stats that spans millions of pages while the actual plot is just twenty micrometers long.

Yes indeed desks are crucial unlike those lame tables! We use them to DO very important everyday activities like doing homeworks, doing gaming, doing secretaries etc..
