I have a stupid question. Is it true that everyone in MURICA drink water with ice? And if it's true, why?

It depends, but for the most part, yes. The reason being that cold water and hot water is better than lukewarm water but the cold water is preferred in the heat.

Why would you want to hush puppies? Well, I guess their barking is annoying/

The food! It fried cornmeal batter, usually served with BBQ or a at a pig pickin.

I would rather drink lukewarm water than cold water.

Ice water is so good. I love it.
Ice in drinks is commonplace.

It's probably because we aren't used to having ice everywhere all the time.
