Wikipedia says that the pass rate for this test is 10%. This would basically be 99% native Japanese speakers who are probably 99% adults that have studied Kanji for years. Welp, if I ever get a second life and I reincarnate in Japan or something ... lol

Supposedly the test is not hard because you have to know 6000 Kanji. It's a lot of Kanji to memorize, but that is the easy part of the test. It's hard because they have to know the precise way to write each character, know all the readings of each character, know the antonyms, homonyms, and synonyms of each character, and so much more. KNOW EVERYTHING.

I can basically (barely) read about 1000 characters right now in a half-assed way. I can also barely write most of them in the most ugly/wrong way. I feel great! :blob_uwu:
