And to share a little secret, yes, I laugh menacingly as well when writing my characters.

I hold the glass with a light touch. Oh, you thought I might hold it firmly? Not at all. When one realizes that they exercise total authority there's no need to be boorish. I could crush the glass at any moment. How delicious that wine is! And I welcome the glass's rebellion against me for it gives me justification to act forcefully in response. Ohohohoho

Ohohoho, I see. But I was more alluding to the fact that depending on where you are from, you hold glasses differently and you can tell that by the technique.
