On Author Dashboard, allow more Novels per page.

I should add that, I only recently realized that you could sort novels, so this really isn't a problem at all. (I just sorted the novels that I am still working on at the top, which makes it so that I don't have to go forward a page, haha.)

    Allow Links in Novel Description.

Thanks for the reply! And, yeah. I will keep all my novels posted on RoyalRoad and Scribblehub. (IE, I am not taking that specific Amazon KDP deal.) As for content... Just counting released chapters, I have well over 1mil words posted on this site. (Going by what RoyalRoad says.)

    Allow Links in Novel Description.

IS IT!?🤯 Edit: I can only find rules for the forum, not the rules for novels. Which do state that offsite links aren't allowed in some cases. Clarification on this would be nice, as I do not wish to be breaking any rules. Thank you!

    Allow Links in Novel Description.

I know that I bring up features from Royalroad that SH doesn't have a lot, but this one is cool, too. Not having to push people to go to the first chapter when they want to purchase a novel is nice. It would great if you could do the same on Sh, so I don't have to spam author notes with links to...

On Author Dashboard, allow more Novels per page.

This one is suuuper niche, but is something that would be nice. Already, the author novel dashboard thing has two pages for me, and as I have many, many more novels planned, I only foresee it getting longer. In reality, for me, this is an extremely minor thing. After all, I tend to just...

The Ultimate Guide to Writing Novels with Obsidian!

:Introduction: Hello, like many writers, I am insane. Insane in the sense that I need my workflow to be as perfect as humanly possible. Most writing software, such as Scrivener, word, etc. Aren't up to these tasks. Most of them have major, major drawbacks. The solution? Obsidian! Literally, it...

    Writing Scheduling chapters tip!

Hello, if you're like me, you have ADHD, OCD, Dyslexia, etc. And scheduling chapters is a nightmare in a half. The solution? Well, it isn't perfect, but it will save you hours upon hours of work. My new workflow for novels is as follows. Write a chapter>Edit it>Save chapter as draft on...

Add to the chapter scheduling system.

Oh, I didn't see that. But such a thing would take a decent while and time to implement. I feel like, (I am a game dev, but not a web dev. So take my words with a grain of salt.) just adding an extra option to the scheduling would be easier and faster to do.

Add to the chapter scheduling system.

The system works fine. That is... unless you have to schedule more than a couple of chapters. For instance, I had just finished my latest novel yesterday(it finished getting published on amazon) so I had to schedule the chapters for it today. Thankfully, I started to save each new chapter as a...

    Easy way to schedule chapters?

I think the only solution would be making some script to help with it. Just did forty chapters of volume three. I think it is a better idea to just upload the chapters you have, but schedule them far into the future, so they won't release until you're done with the novel. And yeah, RSI's suck :T

    Easy way to schedule chapters?

Is there no easy way to schedule a bunch of chapters? I just finished uploading and scheduling volume two of Celia, but I have to do the same for Royalroad as well. It took me over two hours to do that on just this site, though...

    Named chapters, yes or no?

If a character makes a joke in that specific chapter, or does something specific, then just use that as the name.

Does a villain always have to be redeemed?

Killing the villain is fine, but not my mine characters! I need the fluff! If anyone close to the main characters die, the fluff won't be as good! You know of the rule of cool, but I shall coin the rule of fluff!

    Named chapters, yes or no?

I always either make a pun, or name the chapter after what it will entail.

    Named chapters, yes or no?

For me, I really like naming chapters for my novels. I also really like it when other authors do the same. It makes it easier to remember what chapter you were last on, and is helpful to me when I need to make sure I reference something from an older chapter properly. I am curious what readers...

What do y'all use to write?

Simply because it is more than a note taking app. For me, it doesn't take up more performance than Scrivener does. Some overhead is worth it for how optimized you can get with obsidian. (There are also app versions, which you can sync your projects to. There are some free syncing plugins, but...
