    Cover Change, Whaddya Think?

It's magic speech 😾. It translates roughly to "My artistic side ain't worth a damn" 🤣🤣 But I've pestered the Mods enough with my cover changes. Settled on the new cover with the old title logo until I get receive a new cover done an by actual professional, lol.

    Cover Change, Whaddya Think?

Thanks for all the input! So it's clear my typography skills suck, lol. I've now contacted a real graphic designer who's going to provide me with an actual title design, and I'll try it on both. My main gripe with the old cover was the fact that it's got this distinctive AI, tendril-y look to...

To Lewd Or Not To Lewd

How does the old adage go? Sex sells. On a more serious note, it depends on what kind of story you want to tell, and who your target audience is. To lewd or not to lewd—both choices are okay. ScribbleHub has a big smut community, so I think your story having it is more of an advantage than a...

After Act 1, im not sure anymore

Consistently posting your story on sites like SH and RR is not only an exercise in improving your prose, but in learning to take feedback healthily (or the lack thereof at times!), meeting deadlines, writing even when you don't feel inspired, an exercise in willpower when you trudge on with your...

What do you do for a living?

Currently unemployed. I help at the family farm when needed, while spending my hours learning to code and writing my story. JavaScript is kicking my ass, by the way. 🥲

How long you became a well-known author since you first published in SH?

Started posting 8 days ago, doing 3 chapters a week. Currently sitting at 13 readers. But it's only natural for people to wait for there to be more meat to sink their teeth into. I'll make sure the wait is worth the while! >:)

Where do you guys usually promote your stuff?

I post three chapters a week (M-W-F), so I can't rely on the Latest Updates sections by itself. I've been using Reddit mostly. X, Facebook and Discord to a lesser degree.

What is Your Longest Story So Far? (Chapter wise)

My first and sole serial is pre-planned to be 600 chapters long, divided into 15 volumes. I'm releasing three chapters a week and I just started, so it'll be some years before I reach the finishing line; it'll be quite the exercise in consistency. :blob_gift:

Biggest problem with writing (or starting)

I find the first chapters to be the easiest, as you're not shackled by the logic of your story yet--you're still establishing it. As the story grows there are more tangents to consider (chapter plots, character plots, arc plots, volume plots, overarching plots) which make it increasingly...
