How important is it to you for stories to have interesting chapter titles?

It's never been a factor on if I read something or not, but I definitely prefer titled chapters to purely numbered chapters. Ideally the chapter title is enough to make it relatively easy for someone to find a specific chapter again in the future.

Resolved when rendering a page, spoiler boxes should load and close *before* the text becomes visible.

I'm on Firefox Android, and for some baffling reason, spoiler boxed content is visible for a second or more when a new chapter is loading. This can be really annoying for people who didn't want to open the spoiler box in the first place, like if it contains CWs and the reader prefers to go in...

But with a majority of stories/authors never using it, a new user might click on it a few times, get tired of seeing the "no glossary available" and never click it again. It should be relatively simple to hide the glossary...

    Writing with Dyslexia?

Mechanically, comic sans is a great font to make writing and editing easier. Using a larger than usual font and white text on black screen can also help. Disable the error prompts, the red lines under typos, when writing the first draft, and don't interrupt your flow to fix obvious errors, edit...

LF "Unifier hero" stories with a female protagonist.

One of my favorite types of heroic protagonist is the one that focuses on being the unifier and diplomat, helping several different factions and/or supporting characters get over their differences for the greater good. It's a fun way to mix big picture diplomacy with street level action. Thing...

For female readers who read harem stories, why?

The funny irony is that the good harem romance has some elements that you don't normally get in romance. First, you usually get a cast of well defined and creatively designed love interests, instead of one or two cookie cutter characters like in a lot of others. Secondly, if the story depicts a...
